Hourly Rate: £12.80 | Full Time: 45.5 hours per week

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Trainee Senior Support Worker, you’ll:
1. Provide hands-on support to individuals with autism, tailored to their unique strengths and needs
2. Assist with personal care, meal prep, and maintaining a welcoming, homely environment
3. Support engagement in recreational, educational, and social activities
4. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Support Workers, promoting high-quality care
5. Develop and review person-centred care plans, helping individuals achieve their goals
6. Collaborate with families, professionals, and colleagues to deliver holistic support
7. Keep accurate records and reports to meet care standards
8. Flexible with shift patterns, including weekends and occasional night shifts
9. A driving licence is essential
Who We’re Looking For
10. Experienced in supporting individuals with autism or in similar care settings
11. Ideally holds, or is working towards, QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
12. A positive, can-do attitude with a love of teamwork
13. Compassion, patience, and a sense of humour — because no two days are ever the same!
14. Enthusiasm to develop leadership skills and grow in your career
Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
