Community Skills Facilitator.
The role will be facilitating IT, Maths and English sessions with the base location being Grimsby.
Candidates must be experienced in the delivery of functional skills Maths, English and IT qualifications up to level 2 with a flexible approach to working and the ability to inspire learners to achieve.
Essential Requirements:
1. Level 3 qualification or above in appropriate subject.
2. GCSE A-C English qualification or equivalent.
3. GCSE A-C Maths qualification or equivalent.
4. PTTLS or equivalent teaching qualification.
5. First aid qualification or willingness to work towards.
6. Evidence of continuous professional development.
7. Level 2 ICT or willingness to work towards and obtain within 6 months.
The successful candidate will:
8. embrace and positively promote the Group’s approach to supporting the learner and employer journey.
9. maintain a caseload of learners, ensuring timely completion and the overall success of qualifications,
10. deliver high quality instruction, subject learning support and assessment to learners and supervise learners in the use and operation of equipment and resources when required.
11. assist learners with action planning and prepare individuals programmes of study.
12. advise and monitor the preparation of learners files.
13. develop Learning Support material and assessment systems as agreed with line manager.
14. facilitate learning activities in a range of settings including workshop, classroom, learning centre, online, field visit, placement and any other learning situation.
