Location: Filton (minimum 60% on site, hybrid working available)
Hours: 35 per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm)
Pay: £46-£52 per hour (Umbrella)
What You'll Do
* Lead design investigations and develop technical solutions for manufacturing non-conformances and design challenges, ensuring all airworthiness and safety standards are met.
* Provide expert guidance and act as a focal point for technical issues, supporting and mentoring team members.
* Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, sharing lessons learned and best practices.
* Report on critical technical issues to functional and delivery managers, ensuring robust management and resolution.
* Build strong relationships across the Wing Engineering community, Plant Production, and support functions.
What We're Looking For
* Experience as a Design Concession Approver (T200 approval required; T100 with concession experience considered).
* Background in aerospace, ideally with A400M or A350 experience.
* Strong technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a supportive team.
* Proactive, resilient, and open to change.
