Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: London, within M25. Employment: Full-time, Mid‑Senior level.

Job Purpose
Maintain services by delivering planned and reactive maintenance to an agreed programme, budget and quality within the company’s operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out inspections, diagnose faults, fit parts and conduct repairs.
* Perform gas servicing, repairs and maintenance.
* Carry out other maintenance, repairs and remedial works as directed.
* Call‑out duties via rota (paid door‑to‑door).
* Comply with safe working practices, ensuring the safety of the workforce and public.
* Adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policy, attend safety meetings, training and briefings.
Experience Required
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the commercial gas industry
* Knowledge of plumbing and commercial gas engineering
* Experience in repairs, servicing, maintenance and installation
* Qualified heating/gas service engineer working in commercial/domestic premises
* Working knowledge of heating distribution and ventilation systems, especially plant rooms
* Experience with routine maintenance of plant items (pumps, heat changers, pressure vessels, valves)
* Ability to use a PDA device
* Call‑out rota: 1 in every 5 weeks

* CODNCO1 / COCN1 Core Commercial Gas Safety – ESSENTIAL
* CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1, CDGA1, TPCP1A
* CCN1, CENWAT, CEN1, HTR1, CPA1, CKR1
* WAT1 Water Heaters
* UDHW Unvented Domestic Hot Water
* LPG qualification – desirable not essential
* TPCP1 Testing and Purging – desirable not essential
* Valid full clean driving licence maintained
* DBS check required
