The Vacancy

We are currently seeking an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join our team on a planned works programme based in Sheffield. This role will focus on Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) projects and adaptation works, ensuring tenants are fully supported throughout the process.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

1. Act as the main point of contact for residents during planned works.
2. Manage tenant communications, including updates, access arrangements, and complaint resolution.
3. Support vulnerable residents and ensure minimal disruption during works.
4. Liaise with site teams, contractors, and housing officers to coordinate schedules.
5. Maintain accurate records of interactions and issues raised.

✅ Requirements:

6. Proven experience as an RLO, ideally within social housing.
7. Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, empathetic approach to tenant concerns.
8. Confident handling complaints and resolving issues effectively.
9. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally.
10. Knowledge of SHDF and adaptation works is highly desirable.

📍 Location:

11. Based in Sheffield, with travel to properties across the region.
