Family Solicitor (2-4 PQE) – Howes Percival
We have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor to join our Family team in Leicester.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has the drive and enthusiasm to further their career, build strong client relationships and help to grow our team. Our team are experts in all aspects of private family law matters, in particular financial remedy proceedings. Clients praise us for our professionalism, pragmatic advice and personal approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise and assist clients in relation to their matters, ensuring a high level of client service is maintained at all times and that the client’s aims are met (subject to professional and regulatory requirements)
* Manage all aspects of the client relationship, from engagement to billing and chasing payment
* Prepare and review legal documents ahead of hearings
* Ensure compliance with all file management processes, including those related to file audits
* Work as a team with colleagues in promoting the interests of Howes Percival and in undertaking their role
* Comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements
* Update and consult with Senior Associates and Partners
* Manage client cases from start to finish
About You
* Ability to deal with straightforward transactions, including unfamiliar tasks which present a range of problems
* Uses own judgement but may need supervision at differing levels of transaction
* Identifies the legal principles relevant to the area of practice and applies them appropriately
* Uses experience to check the information provided
* Goes the extra mile and produces good quality work
* Approachable and able to develop and build relationships with clients and colleagues
