What We’re Looking For You’ll bring: Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry Strong understanding of construction contracts & legislation Excellent negotiation, analytical & communication skills A proactive, time-efficient approach to work A relevant degree or HNC experience A full UK driving licence What You’ll Be Doing As our Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take the lead on: Managing and overseeing all commercial aspects of construction projects Collaborating with the estimator on feasibility studies & cost appraisals Working with design teams and buyers to source & price materials Managing subcontractors: tendering, placing orders, certifying work Acting as the bridge between site managers, engineers, project managers & clients Tracking & managing budgets, valuations & variations Identifying commercial risks & driving cost control initiatives Mentoring junior surveyors to build team capability Delivering clear, structured reports to stakeholders The Package Cheltenham-based office with site visits Full-time, Monday–Friday Salary: Very competitive (depending on experience) Strong career development opportunities Opportunity to evolve Project Management experience and skills Benefits: Company pension Gym membership Health & wellbeing programme On-site parking
