Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a market leading manufacturer, specialising in Heavy Plant Equipment based in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a growing organisation, working on large scale industrial projects with real variety and global exposure.

Qualifications
Essential:
* Degree, HNC or HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
* Experience with industrial electrical systems and controls
* Experience using SEE Electrical (or similar electrical CAD packages)
* Ability to read and produce electrical schematics
* Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
Knowledge of:
* PLCs (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
* Motor control systems and drives
* Industrial automation and instrumentation
Desirable:
* Experience within heavy plant, quarrying, or process industries
* Exposure to SCADA systems and remote monitoring
* Experience supporting site commissioning or international projects
Roles & Responsibilities
* Producing control panel designs, wiring diagrams, and schematics
* Using SEE Electrical for electrical design and CAD work
* Programming and configuring PLC and automation systems
* Supporting installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment
* Troubleshooting electrical and control system issues (on-site and remotely)
* Ensuring compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations
* Working closely with mechanical engineers and wider project teams
Designing electrical systems for:
* Asphalt plants
* Crushing & screening systems
* Concrete batching plants
Requirements
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will also be expected to:
* Work with Project Managers to ensure designs are delivered on time
* Collaborate with other departments
