Job Title: Associate Resolutions Business Partner

We have an exciting opportunity to join our newly established Resolutions Team, focused on delivering formal ER investigations and positive resolutions to staff concerns. The candidate will be an experienced manager in ER matters or an HR practitioner, who will take on complex investigations, undertaking these promptly, efficiently and independently. The post holder will also provide oversight and support to the team of investigators, ensuring best practice and consistency in investigation processes. The post holder will also be responsible for the delivery of a range of resolution options, including conducting facilitated meetings and mediation with staff.
Responsibilities
* Undertake complex commissioned employment investigations (e.g., conduct, performance, right to work, fraud, grievance matters) from receipt of allegations to representations at hearings/tribunals when required.
* Provide oversight of the investigations team to ensure best practice and consistency; support facilitation of resolution options including meetings and mediation.
* Deliver informal and formal resolution options, including conflict coaching, mediation, facilitated conversations, and early intervention where appropriate.
* Facilitate formal mediation sessions for complex and potentially contentious matters between employees.
* Work with Case Managers to create Terms of Reference, monitor progress, and provide subject matter expertise on Employment Law and ER as required.
* Manage administration for cases, schedule hearings to minimise delays, and ensure timely completion of investigations per Trust policies.
* Provide guidance, training and coaching to colleagues and operational managers on investigations, hearings, and HR policies.
* Ensure compliant and fair application of Trust HR processes; review evidence, interpret information, and present clear investigation reports with recommendations.
* Support Hearing Panel Chairs and contribute to policy/service development where applicable.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
* Master Degree or equivalent
* Fully CIPD qualified, level 7 or above
* O mediation/facilitation skills qualification, or willingness to complete appropriate training within 12 months of appointment
* Experience undertaking ER investigations
* Experience in ER, investigations or conflict resolution
* Experience working in a unionised environment
* Experience developing HR policies and reporting to others
