We have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Tradesperson to join us!
In this role you will work across the university both unassisted, and as part of a team of trades and handypersons colleagues and external contractors, depending on the works being undertaken.
The Electrical Tradesperson is responsible for carrying out minor installations, maintenance and reactive repairs on the electrical infrastructure and services across the estate.

We also offer a generous annual leave allowance - 32 days per year plus bank holidays, plus Christmas closure.
you may, at times, work a flexible working week outside of the agreed shift pattern. This could include occasional early starts, late finishes or weekend work as you will be part of the out of hours call-out rota within the trades team.
a City and Guilds of London Institute Certificate NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or hold City and Guilds part 1 and 2 in Electrical Installations
a full UK driving licence.
The Facilities Management team
The Facilities Management team sits within the Estates and Property Service Division. Their core objective is to provide an essential and critical Facilities Management services across all campuses, to ensure the buildings and general estates are pleasant, fit for purpose and functional for all our staff and students.
