We are a trusted UK manufacturer of *Timber* *fire-rated doorsets and panels*, supplying high-quality, compliant products to the construction and commercial fit-out industries. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced *Homag CNC Operator/Programmer* with strong proficiency in *WoodWOP 9* to join our production team.
*Role Overview:*
The successful candidate will be responsible for *operating and programming Homag CNC machinery* to produce precision fire doors, frames, and panels. You will translate design specifications into efficient CNC programs, ensuring high-quality output, accuracy, and compliance with fire certification and manufacturing standards.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Program and operate *Homag CNC machines* using *WoodWOP 9* software.
* Machines to operate: Centateq P110, Centateq P210 and Drillteq V-310.
* Interpret technical drawings and manufacturing data to produce doorsets, panels, and components.
* Set up tooling, calibrate machinery, and monitor production runs to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
* Work closely with the design and engineering teams to optimise CNC programs and production flow.
* Conduct routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues as needed.
* Ensure all products meet *fire safety and quality compliance standards*.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with company H&S procedures.
*Requirements:*
* Proven experience as a *CNC Operator/Programmer* in the *woodworking or joinery manufacturing sector*.
* Experience on machine: Centateq P110, Centateq P210 and Drillteq V-310.
* Strong proficiency in *WoodWOP 9* and experience operating *Homag CNC machinery*.
* Ability to read and interpret *technical drawings and production documentation*.
* Good understanding of *wood machining, tooling, and production processes*.
* Experience within the *fire doorset or bespoke joinery* industry (desirable).
* Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and problem-solving skills.
* Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Experience with Centateq P110, Centateq P210 and Drillteq V-310 Homag machines.
Job Type Permanent
Job Status Full Time – Immediate start
Hours Monday to Thursday 7-4pm
Fridays 7-1pm
