In this Property Legal Assistant position, you will be: · Managing your own caseload of disrepair claims under supervision · Supporting the defence of pre-action and issued legal claims · Drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence · Ensuring compliance with court procedures and relevant legislation · Liaising with internal teams, Solicitors, and external stakeholders · Supporting tenancy management and wider litigation matters within the Housing Legal team · Maintaining accurate case records and documentation · Delivering a professional, customer-focused legal service I’d love to speak to any Legal Assistant who has: · A 2:1 Law Degree or above, or LPC/SQE qualification (or equivalent) · Previous experience in a legal role or legal environment · Experience working within a housing background or housing-related organisation (desirable) · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities · Confidence working with internal teams and external stakeholders · An interest in developing experience in housing law and civil litigation · Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) (desirable but not essential) This Property Legal Assistant role is offering the following benefits: · Permanent position · Full-time hours (35 hours per week) · Opportunity to gain specialist experience in housing disrepair litigation · Supportive and collaborative team environment · Career development within a well-established housing organisation · Inclusive workplace culture Travel & location This Property Legal Assistant role is based in Birmingham (B15 1LZ), with good access via public transport and major road links, making it convenient for candidates across Birmingham and surrounding areas.
