Responsibilities
* Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
* Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
* Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
* Resolves pay related queries.
* Ensures accurate and timely processing of pension submissions, payments and reconciliations.
* Ensures accurate and timely processing, payment and reconciliation of employee expenses.
* Assists with Credit Control processes including, generation and distribution of debtors reporting.
* Advises and prioritise setting Administrators with debtors processes and queries.
* Processes bad debt write offs and pass bad debt accounts to Legal.
* Administrates the Legal Department debt system and process legal forms for small claims.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Ensure keeping up to date with any changes to policies and procedures by reading any policies uploaded to IHASCO.
* Any other Ad hoc duties relevant to the department.
Qualifications
* Good history in processing company payroll.
* Computer literacy to include use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Sage payroll and Excel.
* Willing to undertake further CPD and training.
* Good knowledge of information technology especially Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and in house data bases).
* Communication, numeracy, and organisational skills.
* Advantageous but not essential
* Driving Licence
* ECDL or equivalent
