Would you like to help the community dietetic team provide nutritional care to patients?
We support patients receiving Home Enteral Feeding, Oral Nutrition support or living with a chronic condition in the community setting and educate those at risk. We are an enthusiastic multidisciplinary team with a strong ethos of mentoring and development.
We rely on our support staff to help us monitor and review the nutritional intake of some of the patients under our care and ensure they receive this care in a timely manner. .
Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone who is organised, likes to work in a communityhealthcare environment and enjoys completing administrative tasks to support patient care.
You will help to man our main telephone line, take messages and ensure clinical actions are handed over to the relevant team member. You will book patients into scheduled appointments for home visits or telephone consultations, type dictated letters and restock our supplies of stationary and diet sheets.
You may also carry out organisational or administrative tasks as designated e.g. register patients on the Home Enteral Feeding system; audit, stock checks of nutritional products.
Whilst some existing knowledge of systems such as CWS, Oracle and Welsh PAS would be useful, training will be provided.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE qualifications or equivalent
Experience
* Experience using Microsoft Access, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
* Experience of working in a Clerical / administrative capacity
* Experience establishing and maintaining office systems and procedures.
* Experience dealing with confidential and sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy.
* Previous experience working within a patient booking role
* Knowledge of the NHS or similar public organisation.
Skills
* Evidences previous roles requiring good organisational and prioritisation skills
* Welsh Language Skills are desirable levels 1 to 5 in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing in Welsh
Knowledge
* Knowledge of secretarial or administrative procedures and systems, acquired through demonstrable experience to Vocational Level 3 equivalent
* Knowledge of CWS, Welsh Clinical Portal or Welsh PAS.
* Knowledge/Experience of Oracle Procurement systems
