A client within the Public Sector based in North Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join their Property Services team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a Building Services & Maintenance environment.The Role Key purpose of the role:To support the Property Services team in reviewing housing stock across various locations and providing professional surveying services in line with council objectives.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:• Undertake housing stock condition surveys across the county• Produce detailed reports and recommendations• Ensure compliance with council standards and health & safety regulationsThe Candidate To be considered for this role you will require:• A recognised qualification in Building Surveying (HNC, HND or degree level)• Relevant experience within public sector housing maintenance• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicleThe below skills would be beneficial for the role:• Knowledge of relevant building regulations and housing legislation• Proficiency in reporting software or housing systems• Strong communication and stakeholder liaison skillsThe client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such is offering £30 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £24 per hour PAYE).How to ApplyIf this position sounds of interest, email a copy of your up-to-date CV to .uk or call Amy at Service Care Construction on to discuss the vacancy in more detail.Also, if this role is not of interest to you, but you are looking for new opportunities, please still get in touch as we cover all construction-related vacancies across the region.Referral Bonus If this role is not suitable for yourself, but you know someone who may be interested, please pass on their details or forward these details to them.
