Attention soon-to-be SAICA qualified South African professionals in Commercial Audit!
Grant Thornton UK is seeking talented audit professionals from South Africa to join us in the UK. We are looking for individuals who will be newly SAICA qualified or will be ready to register by the end of the year, with a start date in January 2026.
In early July, we will host an online recruitment event to share insights about working within our Commercial Audit team and relocating to the UK. Interested candidates should message their interest to us, and we will send a link.

A look into the role
* Become a trusted business advisor to our clients, focusing on quality and reputation
* Manage client projects and oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
* Lead onsite audit teams, preparing and reviewing financial statements and updating management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members, supporting junior staff
* Continuously strive to develop yourself and the business, knowing you are supported at every stage
Minimum criteria to join us
The minimum requirements include a professional qualification (recently SAICA qualified or ready to register for January 2026). You should be confident leading audits of various sizes. Experience with the following is desirable but not mandatory, as we will support your development:
* Good knowledge of IFRS
* Interest in understanding clients' business challenges
* Experience with audit software and Microsoft Office
* Project management skills
* Desire to maintain and develop technical knowledge
