The schools are seen as a pillar in the local community and consistently excells with Ofsted The role of a SEN Teacher: Plan GCSE SEN lessons that are engaging and adapt to various abilities Strong knowledge of the curriculum Use strong de-escalation strategies to keep the students engaged Ability to effectively develop the confidence and social skills of pupils Requirements for SEN Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status preferable Experience delivering GCSE English lessons at Secondary Level Strong subject knowledge Ability to effectively develop the confidence and social skills of pupils An understanding of working with students with SEN and SEMH needs An understanding of pupils’ behaviour patterns when experiencing complex needs Why value Education?
