The Project: Tribeca
We’re bringing to life Tribeca, a bold new life sciences destination in the heart of King's Cross. We're delivering 260,000 sqft of next‑gen lab and office space, 74 stunning new homes, and vibrant public areas across five architecturally striking buildings above a shared basement. Designed for innovation, flexibility and BREEAM Outstanding sustainability, Tribeca is set to become a landmark hub for science, living, and community.
Main Responsibilities
* On‑Site Management: Supervise and manage façade construction activities, ensuring alignment with project schedules and objectives.
* Technical Coordination: Work closely with the Project Manager, design teams, and specialist subcontractors to resolve technical challenges and manage interfaces with other trades.
* Health, Safety & Compliance: Enforce all site safety procedures, conduct inspections and toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with RAMS and industry standards.
* Quality Assurance: Monitor works to ensure compliance with specifications, contractual obligations, CWCT standards, and building regulations.
* Progress Monitoring: Track progress against programmes, reporting regularly to the Project Manager.
* Material Management: Oversee delivery, storage and efficient use of façade‑related materials.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, inspections and safety audits.
We’re Looking For
* NVQ Level 6 in Construction or equivalent experience.
* SMSTS qualification.
* Strong knowledge of façade systems, including curtain walling, unitised panels, cladding, glazing, brick slips and rainscreen systems.
* Hands‑on management of brick slip façades, including soffit systems, bonding patterns and slip panel tolerances.
* Demonstrable experience managing façade subcontractors and façade packages on large‑scale projects.
* Familiarity with CWCT standards and building regulations (including Part B).
* Proficient in site documentation systems (4Projects, Fieldview, MS Project).
* Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
