CAD Technician

Qualifications and Requirements:
* Generation and update of engineering drawings and models.
* Execution of the companies document control procedures to correctly file and distribute drawings.
* Modify and update existing CAD drawings and models as required.
* Ensure all drawings are accurate, clearly dimensioned, and comply with company standards and relevant national standards.
* Maintain and organize CAD drawing files and documentation.
* Collaborate effectively with engineers, production teams, and other departments to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
* Assist in the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOMs) from CAD drawings.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of CAD standards and procedures.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
* T level or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., mechanical engineering, design engineering).
* Proficiency in using industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor).
* A good understanding of engineering drawing principles and practices.
