The Rewards
* Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year.
* Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 – No Weekends.
* Holiday: 33 days per year (including Bank Holidays).

Your Role
As a core Vehicle Technician in our Cardiff team, you will:
* Maintenance & Repair: Carry out routine servicing, mechanical maintenance, and repairs to the highest trade standards.
* Engine & Timing Work: Perform vital mechanical duties, including hands‑on experience handling engine work, timing belts, and timing chains.
* Diagnostics: Use advanced, state-of-the-art multi-brand diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify complex electrical and mechanical faults.
* MOT & Safety: Complete thorough vehicle health checks (VHC) and safety‑critical, MOT‑related repairs.
* Technical Quality: Maintain high efficiency and "right first time" standards to ensure unbeatable local customer service.
What You Need
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance, City & Guilds, or equivalent experience.
* Technical Skill: Strong all‑around mechanical knowledge with practical experience changing timing belts and chains.
* Tools & Kit: Must possess your own comprehensive set of professional hand tools.
* Licensing: A valid UK driving licence is essential.
