Senior Associate – Residential Property Solicitor

Are you an experienced Residential Property Solicitor with strong technical expertise and proven leadership skills, ready to take the next step into a senior, strategic role?
A respected and progressive law firm in Reading is seeking a Senior Associate Residential Property Solicitor to lead and supervise a thriving team of seven Fee Earners, with the full support of the current Residential Property Partner. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor who thrives on mentoring others, driving departmental growth and delivering high-quality legal services.
The Role:
As a Senior Associate, you will:

* Lead and supervise a team of 7 Fee Earners, offering technical guidance, mentoring and oversight
* Work closely with the Residential Property Partner on strategy, operations and best practices
* Oversee a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including:\n
\n
o Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
o Lease extensions and enfranchisement
o Remortgages, transfers of equity and equity release
o Title and ownership complexities, rights of way and boundary issues
o Residential landlord and tenant matters

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and workflows
* Play a key role in business development and strengthening client relationships
\n
What We’re Looking For:
\n
* 5+ years PQE in residential property law with a strong, well-rounded technical skillset
* Prior experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues (or a readiness to step into that role)
* A confident communicator with excellent organisational and client care skills
* Commercially astute, with a proactive and solution-focused approach
* A collaborative mindset and genuine enthusiasm for team development
