Key Responsibilities
Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for manufacturing purposes
Program laser cutting machines using appropriate software
Interpret technical drawings and customer specifications
Optimise designs for efficient production and material usage
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process
Requirements
Proven experience in a CAD Engineer or similar role
Experience with laser programming and CNC machinery
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar)
Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
