Key Responsibilities:
* Reporting directly into the CEO, you will take ownership of day to day performance of freight and logistics operations and play a key role in shaping how the business works.
* Place a key focus on working with the operational team to maximise their engagement, development and performance.
* Identify areas in which people can be further developed through mentoring, training and development.
* Identify opportunities for process optimisation, cost reduction and service improvement to fulfil and exceed customers logistics requirements.
* Develop and implement KPIs to measure operational performance and customer satisfaction.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
* Collaborate with other business areas to ensure seamless end to end service delivery.
* Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards.
