Responsibilities
As an Assistant Ecologist, your key responsibilities will include:
* Conducting ecological surveys, including Phase 1 habitat surveys and protected species surveys.
* Assisting in the preparation of ecological reports, impact assessments, and mitigation strategies.
* Supporting senior ecologists in delivering high-quality ecological consultancy services.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
* A Field Identification Skills Certificate (FISC) at Level 3.
* A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
* A good understanding of UK habitats and species, including protected species legislation.
