Our Primary School is seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage 2 team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need support to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Key Stage 2)

Contract Type: Full-time
Start Date: October 2025
Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
* Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities and differentiated instruction
* Support pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and social skills development
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to implement EHCPs and behaviour plans
* Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
You will need to have:
* Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a primary school setting
* A good understanding of child development and the KS2 curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A patient, positive, and flexible approach
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) – desirable but not essential
