Who You Are You are an experienced social worker with at least three years of permanent statutory experience. You have operated within children's services, specifically focusing on Children in Care and Children Looked After. You possess excellent engagement and direct working skills with children and young people, and you're methodical and organized in your approach to care and placement planning. You are committed to ensuring stable placements and minimizing risks to achieve positive long-term outcomes. You must be a car driver with access to a vehicle and should not be transitioning directly from a permanent social work position in the North West region (a 3-month gap is required). What the Job Involves This role is part of Liverpool Children's Services, where you will join our dedicated Permanence Teams. You will work on developing and executing care plans for children, ensuring their individual needs are met with suitable and stable placements. You will also be involved in minimizing risks while improving the long-term outcomes for the children and young people under your care.
