Benefits Mentor Programme Annual Leave Purchase Competitive Salary Great pension scheme Private Healthcare Dental Insurance Key Responsibilities * Lead the technical delivery of a range of flood risk management, coastal adaptation, and water resource projects. * Manage multi-disciplinary teams to produce high-quality project deliverables, ensuring they meet client specifications and fall within budget and schedule constraints. * Working on Flood Risk Assessment/ Flood Consequence Assessments, Drainage Strategies, Flood Risk Management Schemes and SUDS designs * Provide mentorship to junior engineers and graduates, guiding them towards professional qualifications. * Collaborate with Delivery Managers and Project Managers to ensure smooth execution and commercial success of projects. * Support the development of innovative solutions for river restoration, drainage, and sustainable infrastructure. * Work on a variety of projects with contract values ranging from £50k to £500k. Essential Requirements * A background in Civil Engineering, Water & Environmental Management, or a related field. * Professional engineering qualification with the ICE, CIWEM, or similar body. * Experience in the flood and coast sector, including the design and appraisal of schemes. * Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, producing high-quality deliverables on time and within budget. Desirable Requirements * Experience in client and stakeholder engagement, and presenting technical solutions effectively. * Familiarity with NEC Professional Service Contracts (PSC) and the ability to manage project changes. * Experience in developing business cases and preferred options using FCERM Appraisal Guidance. * A focus on sustainable solutions, supporting natural resource management and the journey towards net zero. * Experience with site construction to enhance design buildability. * Strong attention to detail in delivering project outcomes.
