CK Group are recruiting for a Food Safety Manager, to join an ingredients and additives manufacturing company, based in Braintree.
The Company
Our client is a manufacturer of ingredients that are supplied to the food, industrial and personal care industries.
Salary
£50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Benefits
* 25 days (increasing by 1 day each year, up to 28 days), plus public holidays.

* 35 hours per week, Mon-Fri (early finish on a Friday).

Food Safety Manager Role
* Assist in the design and implementation of production equipment, product flow and separation to ensure conformity to BRC/FSSC 22000/Hygiene and HACCP requirements.
* Ensure the food/feed safety management system is maintained and updated.
* Ensure all products manufactured or traded meet all aspects of current food/feed safety legislation.
* Development and training of all site employees to ensure that hygiene and GMP is in operation at all times.
* Scheduling and managing customer quality audits.
* Maintain and deliver CAPA reports.
Your background
Senior background in the FSM/Quality/Compliance role in the food sector and excellent communication skills.
