Job Title: Bid Writer
Location: Bristol
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (flexible working hours)
A well-established and growing company based in Bristol is seeking a motivated and ambitious Bid Writer to join the team.
The Role
This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the preparation and submission of high-quality tender and bid documents. Working closely under the guidance of the Director, the successful candidate will receive direct mentorship and ongoing career development support. Additional structured support will be provided by a specialist consultancy company to help develop skills and build a long-term career in bid and tender management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the preparation and submission of tender documents
* Writing clear, compelling, and compliant bid responses
* Coordinating information from internal teams to support submissions
* Reviewing tender requirements and ensuring all criteria are met
* Supporting continuous improvement of bid processes and documentation
About You:
* A recent graduate or someone with some exposure to tender processes
* Excellent written English and strong attention to detail
* Highly organised with strong time management skills
* Able to work independently and collaboratively
* Ambitious and keen to develop a career in bid writing
