Overview:
We’re looking for a strong leader to join our production team as a Digital Experience Manager and lead the end-to-end delivery of work on the boots.com and boots.ie websites.
We’re a dynamic, fast paced and diverse team of designers, copywriters, producers and front-end developers who are passionate about creating the best digital experiences for our customers.
You’ll lead a large production team, working closely with Digital stakeholders across all business units, to deliver engaging content in line with agreed milestones.
Your Responsibilities:
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of briefs through the production process following handover, working closely with the brief owner or DX specialist to understand the brief objectives, agreed creative direction and live dates, to set the production teams up for success.
• Collaborate daily with eComm and Planning stakeholders to understand business plans and trading priorities to support workflow assignment and understand delivery timings and effort involved to manage production priorities.
• Manage and monitor the work stack allocated to the team by Workflow, through daily team check-ins, prioritisation and trade-offs, escalation and issue resolution with stakeholders, to ensure all agreed deadlines are met.
• Lead more complex key business projects e.g. No7, NPD launches, Key campaigns, through the production process, being the point of contact and providing regular, timely updates on progress to meet agreed deadlines
• Ensure the output meets the quality measures set out by the Digital Creative Guidance, and peer/stakeholder sign-off points are completed, to ensure right first-time delivery.
• Know the key Boots UX, Accessibility and SEO principles, and ensure all design and copy adheres to Boots visual identity and digital design language standards, to be able to challenge quality within the production process.
• Own processes and ways of working within role remit, proactively monitoring and optimising to make efficiencies
• Lead, support, develop and performance manage a team of digital specialists (c15)
What you’ll need to have:
• Experienced in leading a high volume of projects and priorities at pace, whilst managing new requests and problem solving ‘in the moment’
• Excellent proven stakeholder management skills, confident in engaging, influencing and holding others to account, and able to flex work styles according to the audience to get the best out of interactions
• Calm, confident, collaborative, curious and proactive, with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Familiar with the creative process (CMS, Analytics, SEO), and comfortable leading a large team of creative specialists
• Educated to degree level or equivalent, with c10 years’ experience of leading large and complex production teams in a digital, agency or marketing role
