The Arden School of Theatre is looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Lecturer in Technical Theatre (Specialism in Lighting or Sound) to join our team on a permanent, part-time (17.5 hours per week) basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the training and development of the next generation of theatre professionals in a creative, student-focused environment. Are you an experienced technical theatre professional with a passion for education? UCEN Manchester is seeking a Technical Theatre Lecturer to deliver engaging, industry-informed teaching across our undergraduate performing arts programmes. You'll play a key role in supporting students specialising in production and technical disciplines, including lighting and/or sound. Skills, Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you will need: Degree Current and valid industry specialism Certificate of education or PGCE Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification English and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above Significant Experience of delivering outstanding teaching and learning Proven track record of high-quality teaching in delivering subject specialism or current valid industry specialism Working as a team Verbal and written communication skills Meet delivery targets and plans Accurate and timely reports and records Positive contribution to planning processes Proven track record of positive student satisfaction Safeguarding The LTE Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
