Overview

We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our home store team in Rhyl for 28 hours per week, including Sundays. In this role you will support the Store Manager with the day‑to‑day running of the store and take full responsibility in their absence, inspiring and supporting staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey that reflects our values.


Responsibilities

* Ensure the highest standard of customer service.
* Achieve sales targets and maximise sales through physical and digital channels.
* Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising.
* Support recruitment and development of volunteers.
* Achieve expectations within campaign activities.
* Work with the manager to generate stock.
* Operate in a fast‑paced, 7‑day store; be flexible to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
* Assist with deliveries and donations, which can be physically demanding.


Qualifications

* Experience in a customer‑facing role.
* Supervisory experience.
* Commercially driven with a drive for new ideas.
* Inclusive approach to team development.
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving high retail standards.
* Results driven with a focus on the right result, the right way.
