A confidential opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join a leading manufacturing business. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain through effective procurement planning, supplier coordination, and inventory management.
Your new role
1. Coordinate material requirements and manufacturing teams
2. Manage strategic stock holding and material replenishment
3. Negotiate pricing for B & C class materials and initiate approval workflows
4. Oversee freight contracts and customs documentation
5. Implement and maintain SAP S4 HANA procurement processes
6. Support internal audits andpliance initiatives
7. Train and develop procurement team members
8. Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure delivery schedules are met
9. Monitor procurement KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
10. Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain within a manufacturing or chemical environment
11. Strong working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office tools
12. Familiarity with ISO9001 standards and dangerous goods regulations (ADR, IMDG, IATA)
13. Excellentmunication, negotiation, and organisational skills
What you'll get in return
The salary for this role is up to £35,000 with a hybrid policy which allows you to work from home twice a week.
