Warehouse Stock Checker - St Helens - £23,907
The position
* This is a full-time permanent position based at our customer's distribution centre in Haydock, St Helens.
* Rate of pay: £23,907 per annum
* Weekly hours: 37.5 hours, plus a 30-minute unpaid break each day
* Training shifts: 10am-6pm & 2pm-10pm
* Shift pattern: 5 days out of 7, shifts between 2pm-10pm
* Working environment: Mixed
A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative
You will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to ensure the accuracy of stock entering or leaving the depot.
Activities may include working across multiple workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits, and Load Adherence checks, many of which involve manual handling.
Job activities
* Audit the inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
* Audit picker accuracy for stock destined for stores and investigate errors.
* Follow audit and error verification procedures consistently.
* Maintain data integrity at all times.
* Achieve productivity levels aligned with customer expectations.
* Review daily targets to meet customer needs.
