Role Purpose
This role focuses on supporting the Learning & Development Manager by:
1. Creating eLearning lesson content
2. Managing essential administrative responsibilities associated with learning and development
The role is held by an individual who clearly demonstrates:
1. Fundamental proficiency in eLearning lesson design and development
2. Exceptional coordination skills, coupled with a proactive attitude, and strong evidence of initiative
Key Responsibilities
Learning Management System (LMS) Design & Development
* Administration
o Coordinate the administration and logistics for learning and development activities.
o Communicate course requirements with all relevant stakeholders within agreed timelines.
o Manage the learning and development calendar.
o Schedule L&D meetings as assigned by the L&D Manager.
o Act as a reliable point of contact for L&D queries from staff.
o Produce and maintain accurate records of learning and development activity.
o Act as first-line support for the online L&D system across the business.
o Ensure new starters are onboarded on learning paths and instructed on system use.
o Assign learning content on LMS to learners and/or communities.
o Schedule and track all online learning events as assigned by the L&D Manager.
o Capture and update data as assigned.
o Liaise with LMS provider to resolve system queries.
o Design and develop engaging e-learning lessons using a systematic approach.
o Incorporate multimedia resources such as videos, quizzes, and presentations.
o Modify and refine video content for quality.
o Design, distribute, and analyze course evaluation feedback forms.
o Organize and upload all materials to the central repository.
Skills & Knowledge
* Experience in developing learning course materials, ideally in an L&D environment
* High level of initiative
* Understanding of learning principles
* Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate
* Good administrative skills
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Teamwork skills
* Experience with multimedia tools
* Good communication skills in a multicultural context
* Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads
* Experience with IT records management/database systems
