Berry Recruitment is offering a fantastic opportunity for 2 x Carpenters to join our team, working with Southampton City Council. This 3-month contract has the potential for full-time employment for the right candidates.
The Role:
Working in Bassett, Lordshill, Shirley, and the City Centre
Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday up to 39 hours a week.
PAYE direct with Berry Recruitment - including holiday pay
Carrying out property maintenance
Working within the Housing Operations team, liaising with residents and colleagues
You will be provided with a van, tools, uniform and PPE.
ENHANCED DBS is required (can be done through are Agency after successfully interview)
Were Looking For:
Qualified Carpenter with experience in property maintenance
To have served a recognised apprenticeship to a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Wood Occupations or equivalent with 3 years experience of working in the domestic, commercial construction & maintenance environment.
Current full UK driving license to drive vehicles throughout the City
Ability to carry out small works in other trades
Confident, self-motivated, and customer-focused
