Service Manager
We have a great opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Operations Team at our Eastleigh Operation Centre. You will be responsible for managing and supporting a large team of service drivers who provide waste disposal products and services to our customers' premises in the south and beyond.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the Centre Manager in managing depot productivity to maintain high service standards.
* Resource planning and supporting the development of all service team members.
* Ensuring all processes and procedures comply with relevant legislation and health and safety policies, including vehicle safety.
* Ensuring vehicles and equipment are checked and maintained for safety.
Ideal candidate:
* At least 2 years of management experience in operations/transport logistics.
* Transport management experience/CPC preferred but not essential.
* Energetic and inspirational leader capable of motivating teams to meet customer expectations.
* Valid full driving license for at least 12 months (max 6 points).
* Understanding of workplace health and safety, preferably IOSH trained.
* Customer-focused with resource and time management skills.
* Previous transport experience essential.
* Excellent communication and IT skills.
