In your role as a Home Administrator at HC-One, you'll have one key quality that truly sets you apart: unparalleled kindness. Kindness will guide every aspect of your work in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care home. Everyone here understands that our Residents are people just like them, with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
As a Home Administrator, your responsibilities will include managing administrative systems and processes to support our Home Manager in running the service effectively. This involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, administering the Time & Attendance system, and processing payroll and HR information—all with a focus on Resident wellbeing.
We are looking for someone with an IT and Administration qualification, such as ECDL, along with admin or secretarial support experience in a busy office environment. Strong skills in Microsoft Office, time management, and organization are essential. Equally important is your positive energy and natural ability to communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues alike.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately. All team members are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be proactive in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
We offer full training to support your development. In return, you'll enjoy a range of benefits aimed at supporting your physical and psychological wellbeing, including:
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
* Free uniform
* Hourly rate, subject to experience and qualifications
* A nutritious meal during shifts of eight hours or more
* Company pension scheme
* 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays
* Group life assurance
* Wagestream for flexible access to pay
* Learning and development opportunities, including qualifications
* GP online service for 24/7 consultations
* Colleague discounts at over 1600 high street stores
* Employee Assistance Programme offering support for physical, mental, and financial issues
* Recognition schemes such as 'Kindness in Care' and Long Service Awards
* Refer a friend scheme with rewards up to £1000
We aim for a quick onboarding process from offer to start date. We are committed to inclusivity and encourage applicants from all backgrounds to join our HC-One family.
