Vehicle Technician Needed in Stockport
1. Location: Stockport
2. Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week, day shifts only. Overtime available, paid at time and a half.
3. Salary: Up to £37,000 basic – up to £43,000 OTE
We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading vehicle rental specialists, now looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to strengthen their team at their newly refurbished Stockport branch.
Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician:
4. Maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles to ensure safety and legal compliance for customer hire.
5. Carry out diagnostics and repairs across all vehicle types in the fleet.
6. Perform regular checks and ensure all documentation is correctly completed.
7. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain high standards of service and repair.
8. Ensure efficient service delivery with quick turnaround in a modern, well-equipped workshop.
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
9. Level 2 Qualified Technician with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, or a fully qualified Level 3 Technician/Mechanic.
10. Strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, ideally within a commercial or fleet environment.
11. Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
12. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
13. Full UK driving licence.
