A requirement for Senior Legal Counsel has arisen within the Legal team of a global offshore and subsea services provider based in Aberdeen. This provider boasts a trusted reputation within the energy industry as a result of successful offshore operations spanning five decades.
The role involves providing commercially astute legal advice to the UK and Canadian conventional, renewables, and global IRM business with a high degree of autonomy. Principally supporting tendering activities on a day-to-day basis, duties will include assessment of risk, contract review/negotiation, legal advice and support to various departments on a range of topics.
Applications are invited from Commercial lawyers with demonstrable experience in the UK energy sector, including offshore/EPCI contract negotiation skills.
Candidates with the required skills who are not yet formally operating at this level will also be considered.
