About Our Client
We are pleased to be supporting a well established accountancy firm in Swanley with their recruitment of a Semi-Senior Accountant.
Job Description
3. Prepare and review financial statements and reports for clients in compliance with regulations.
4. Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission to authorities.
5. Support senior accountants with audits and other financial reviews.
6. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
7. Liaise with clients to address financial queries and provide advice as needed.
8. Monitor budgets and forecasts to provide financial insights.
9. Contribute to the development of accounting processes and systems improvements.
10. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations relevant to the professional services industry.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Semi-Senior Accountant should have:
11. A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
12. Be at least AAT qualified.
13. Previous experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally within professional services.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
15. Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
16. Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
17. Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients.
