Enhanced Access Receptionist

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic team member to support our medical services across Lincolnshire!
This role involves working within our Enhanced Access Service, covering Boston, Spilsby, Louth, Skegness, and Mablethorpe.
Working hours will be evenings and weekends.
Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities include providing reception support during evenings and weekends, such as:
1. Opening and closing the site.
2. Supporting clinicians with chaperoning during appointments as needed.
3. Using the booking system confidentially and accurately.
4. Greeting patients and registering them on the system.
5. Completing reception tasks promptly.
6. Monitoring stock levels and contacting the Operations Manager for supplies.
7. Performing additional receptionist duties as required.
8. Ensuring equipment, including prescriptions, is prepared before and after shifts following proper procedures.
9. Handling patient queries.
10. Assisting clinicians with IT issues.
11. Completing medical referrals.
12. Participating in on-call duties during your shift.

Job responsibilities
To provide efficient, confidential administrative support as part of a team for LADMS, supporting the Enhanced Access service across the East Lindsey District.
This includes maintaining accurate medical records, supporting contractual requirements, and delivering high standards of reception services.
Person Specification
Skills and Knowledge
* Smartly presented with a pleasant manner.
* Effective communication and relationship-building skills with a caring attitude.
* Ability to use initiative and support during shifts, including handling calls.
* Good IT skills and attention to detail.
* Reliable with good time management.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle inquiries calmly.
* Understanding and adherence to confidentiality.
* Preferred but not required: experience with Systm One, owning a Smartcard, basic IT skills.

This role requires a DBS check in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
