Accounts Semi Senior
Cross Hills, Keighley
Circa £27,000 - £33,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Accountancy practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-established independent firm of charted accountants in Cross Hills, Keighley as they look to add an Accounts Semi Senior to their team.
As an Accounts Semi Senior the successful candidate will undertake a varied general practice role which will see you preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships, as well as associated tax compliance. You will also complete bookkeeping work for clients, prepare VAT returns, and process some clients payroll.
The ideal candidate will have a grounding in general practice work and may be AAT qualified (or nearly qualified) or have already begun studying towards the ACCA or ACA qualification / QBE also considered.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparation of draft accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Assist Senior staff with a portfolio of clients
Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations
Bookkeeping work for clients
Preparation of periodic VAT returns
Liaising with clients to resolve queries where necessary
Skills:
AAT Qualified / Part Qualified or ACCA Students
Practice experience is essential
