Job Description
We are seeking a Transport Planner to join our Sunbury based client. Reporting to the Team Manager, you will play a key role in delivering compliant, efficient, and cost-effective transport operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and performance.Key Responsibilities
* Plan and optimise daily vehicle routes for collections and deliveries
* Ensure all customer requirements are met consistently
* Manage drivers, including daily debriefs and performance support
* Coordinate fleet and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective solutions
* Act as a key point of contact for customers
* Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency
* Support compliance with fleet, Health & Safety, and internal procedures
* Assist with driver training, in-cab technology, and supplier management
* Provide occasional out-of-hours and weekend cover as required
About You
* Experience with O-Licence compliance
* Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
* Knowledge of Working Time Directive regulations
