An Ofsted-rated Outstanding secondary school is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic History Graduate to join their support team as a Trainee Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate considering a career in teaching, education, pastoral support, or youth work.
The Role
* Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 History lessons
* Delivering small group interventions and 1:1 support
* Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
* Helping students build confidence and engagement in humanities subjects
* Gaining valuable classroom experience before teacher training
The Ideal Candidate
* A UK degree in History or a related subject
* Passionate about education and working with young people
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Positive, proactive, and reliable attitude
* Considering a future career in teaching
