Trainee Accounts Assistant

What we’re looking for in a Trainee Accounts Assistant:
* A genuine interest in finance and accounting.
* Previous experience in a finance or administrative role is desirable but not essential.
* Numerate with an eye for detail.
* Organised and able to manage time effectively.
* Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
* Keen to learn and develop professionally.
Main Duties of the Trainee Accounts Assistant:
* Sales Ledger – assisting in checking invoices, inputting information onto the systems accurately for reporting figures to the bank, invoicing and other associated admin duties.
* Purchase Ledger – processing invoices, supplier accounts reconciliations and other associated admin duties.
* Provide support to fellow colleagues with month and year end processing and general finance tasks.
* Ad hoc tasks as and when required.
