Timesheet & Finance Administrator

Location: Perth

Full Time / Permanent, 40 Hours per week, Monday – Friday, on site

BEAR Scotland is a leading road maintenance and management service provider in Scotland, maintaining and improving Scottish Trunk Roads including bridges and structures through some of the most scenic, but challenging, parts of the country.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Financial Services team as a Timesheet & Finance Administrator with a focus on timesheet coordination. This is a permanent position based at our newly refurbished head office in Perth.

Reporting to the Finance Services Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate processing of weekly timesheets. In addition, you’ll occasionally support the team with purchase ledger tasks, contributing to the smooth running of our finance operations.

Responsibilities and Activities:

1. Collect and verify weekly timesheets, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
2. Follow up on late submissions and prepare approved summaries for payroll.
3. Maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
4. Provide occasional support to the Purchase Ledger team and assist with other finance tasks as required.
5. Any other duties associated with the role

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

6. Previous experience in a similar role (desirable)
7. Strong Microsoft Excel operating knowledge and accurate data entry capability
8. Interest and understanding of financial processes
9. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet weekly deadlines
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively
11. High attention to detail
