Qualified Social Worker
Adult Safeguarding Team
Location: West Yorkshire
Pay rate: £35 per hour
We are seeking experienced and passionate Social Workers to join the Safeguarding Team. Ideally, candidates will have 2-3 years of experience within Adults Social Care. Your role will focus on upholding and championing best practices, proactively addressing issues before they escalate, and meeting the needs of vulnerable adults to reduce the risk of harm.
Working in accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, and guided by the values and principles of social care, you will support the delivery of person-centered, safe, and effective social care services. Your professional knowledge and experience will enable you to make assessments and determine the most appropriate interventions. Using your significant Social Work experience and excellent communication skills, you will establish and maintain relationships with service users and other agencies to ensure services meet identified needs.
You will be committed to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes through your interventions. Striving for best practices, your aim will be to provide the best possible outcomes for your clients. Your passion for supporting vulnerable individuals to thrive and flourish is essential. Our priority is to protect the most vulnerable while maintaining efficiency.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
* Experienced in working with adults, including those from vulnerable groups.
* Creative, flexible, and forward-thinking approach.
* Knowledgeable of relevant legislation and issues concerning adult safeguarding.
* Dedicated to continuous improvement and best outcomes.
* Excellent mediation and negotiation skills.
* Skilled in building meaningful relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Committed to delivering high-quality services.
* Experience working within multi-disciplinary, interagency teams.
* At least 4 years of qualified experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of risks, protection, and social care needs.
* Manage an agreed caseload effectively.
* Utilize specialist communication skills to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Develop individual care plans respecting diversity and promoting dignity and empowerment.
* Provide advice and support to unqualified staff and students for development purposes.
