Job Title: Gardener / Groundsperson

Salary: £17.50 per hour

Job type: Full time, Permanent

A busy family home with 18 acres of land (including horses, sheep, dogs, chickens, and a swimming pool) is seeking a Gardener/Groundskeeper to join the team, which includes a Groom and Nanny/Housekeeper.

Working hours: 5 days per week, 8:00am - 4:30pm (or similar hours by agreement).

Job Description:

Flexibility is needed but main duties include:

* Gardening and tending vegetable beds.
* Field maintenance.
* Operating machinery.
* Handy man for jobs around the house and farm.
* Pool maintenance including water testing and pool hoovering - training will be provided.
* Taking cars for weekly wash, screen wash, oil and tyre checks, fuelling up.
* Occasional dog walking and running errands e.g. taking animals to vets, picking up animal feeds, wheat and chicken house feed, drive children to school.
* Managing maintenance of equipment/looking after it and liaising with maintenance firms as appropriate.
* Maintaining a smart feel to the premises e.g. sweeping, jet wash, general care and maintenance

The Candidate:

1. Knowledge of gardening (both flowers and vegetables / fruit)
2. Experience of farm machinery
