Senior Lawyer - Litigation Salary: £50,790 - £58,168 D Locations: Offices across the East of England Hybrid working Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting on behalf of our public sector client who require an experienced Senior Lawyer within their Litigation team The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload consisting of civil and criminal litigation, employ and education matters. The caseload may include matters in relation to the following: Housing law including disrepair Debt recovery Insurance in relation to defended liability Judicial review Contractual and commercial disputes Trading standards Environmental health Benefit fraud Licensing Education and special educational needs Planning and enforcement prosecutions Employment (Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate experience in a minimum of three of the subject areas above) The successful applicant will also attend courts and tribunals to undertake advocacy when required. As a Senior lawyer within the team, you would be responsible for supervising and supporting junior members of the team This is fantastic opportunity to take on a fast-paced, varied role working on behalf of a number of public sector organisations; to manage a varied caseload and to have the opportunity to develop your own experience across a broad range of litigation matters. This is a hybrid working role with office presence required twice a week alongside attendance at Court when required.
